Embed code for embedding on wiki pages and in blog posts

I am surprised that there is no Share option 'Embed Code'? Are you planning on introducing that feature? Flowcharts, for example, need to exist within the context of other documents (such as procedures and other types of process documentation), so not having an embed code Share option limits how the LucidChart content can be used. Company Wikis are obviously popular (we use Jam by Success Factors -- used to be called CubeTree) and we also use ScreenSteps Live, and each of these allows us to embed videos into pages, but it seems we cannot embed LucidChart docs? Please advise ...

To embed a diagram, simply publish as a webpage. Then use the standard img src tag with the provided URL. For more information on publishing, here is a quick tutorial: http://support.lucidchart.com/entries/21603984-Publish-your-document Does that clear things up?

Hi Dave. Somehow I missed the email notification that I must have received, regarding your reply. I actually found this thread again just now by Googling on this problem, as I am still faced with it. Sorry, but the "then use a normal HTML img src tag" at the bottom of that tutorial page, and your "use the standard img src tag with the provided URL" is tech talk I do not understand. You are assuming I know HTML. All I know how to do is click a button to get embed code (which I wish Lucidchart would do for me), and then paste that embed code into a wiki page. I can embed videos and other items into a web page. Embedding a Lucidchart document should be as easy, imho. Can you please give me an example of what "use the standard img src tag with the provided URL" actually means/looks like? Here is a URL of a document I published using the Web Page option: https://www.lucidchart.com/documents/view?#4725-ab58-4fc7246e-bd52-... Thanks in advance for (1) giving me sample HTML embed code that will work with that URL, and (2) giving me an indication of whether "make it easy to embed documents on other sites" is on the Lucidchart roadmap. Thanks! MC

Hi MC, sorry to not be more clear. 1) Here is a link with basic instructions: http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/html/image-tag.html . You can simply replace image1.jpg with the link you gave above. 2) This is on our roadmap but unfortunately there's no definitive timeline at this point.

This does not work for me. This is the site where I tried embedding.Browser Wars (CIS105 Fall 2012)

As you can see, I can embed other mind maps.  We can do it as a pdf, through Google Docs, but that does not allow live updating

Thank you all for your feedback. We just announced a new, embeddable viewer for Lucidchart. You can learn more by visiting this tutorial
